How Artificial Intelligence can change the world

 Artificial intelligence (AI) is intelligence demonstrated by machines, as opposed to the natural intelligence displayed by humans or animals.

What are some potential AI projects that you’d like to see implemented?

This industry is dynamic. The advancements in AI at the consumer level can be global, but the speed at which the companies are being adapted means that technology’s application is moving too slowly. 

 today, AI is still at its infancy and transforming businesses is still a touchy subject. Many of these firms are seeing advantages that they can’t ignore, but those companies are also facing resistance from the public, with privacy and data privacy issues keeping them behind in a race that’s as fast as the pace of technology itself. 

We’re in a unique position to lead this race, and we at Knesset seem intent on leveraging this opportunity to our advantage. We’re also looking to deploy our competencies to enable smaller firms to build AI solutions to address some of these challenges. At the  time, we’re also active on the Chinese side, where we’re serving the major Internet players, that stand to benefit most from China’s rapidly growing Internet economy.

What AI products are you currently looking to launch?

Knesset has spent the past couple of years building a portfolio of AI solutions. That portfolio consists of something we call “Social Face Guards”, AI models for a wide range of forms of identity theft, AI solutions for digitally native consumers in the live Scape, AI solutions for assisting customers with device maintenance and repair, and even AI solutions for managing IT operations.

While we certainly know that a lot of the practical AI solutions we develop will end up in the hands of end-user businesses, we also know that consumer sentiment and customer satisfaction will play a critical role in our ability to develop AI-as-a-Service and AI-as-a-Service-as-we-wear-it solutions.

The potential impact of this trend

One of the critical impacts of AI is the potential to substantially redefine the global economy.

 Even in the absence of any impact from AI at all, the industries from engineering and healthcare to gaming and big data are already finding themselves in the top tiers of the technology economy.

 In many industries, such as where Internet-of-Things has emerged as a major driver of growth, AI is being deployed by businesses as major adjustments to their business strategies are being made.

Even in industries not directly impacted by AI, where this revolution has been happening with a somewhat lesser degree of frequency, the application of AI technologies in operations and optimization is being realiz, at a rate that is almost frighteningly similar to the impact of artificial intelligence in data science and predictive modeling.

 Technology enables significant improvements to productivity and decision-making at the level of individual level, whereas only data scientists and effective predictive modeling and optimization tools can thus date deliver the progressive rewards of that technology.
